April 26 ATA Shoot Results

The Menard County Sportsman's Club hosted an ATA registered trap shooting event on Sunday, April 27. The program for this shoot included Doubles, Singles, and Handicap. It's spring in Central Illinois and that means wind. The morning began cool (upper 30's), breezy (10mph North wind, gusts up to 15mph), and sunny. As the day progressed, the temperature rose and so did the wind. By the end time the Handicap event got started, the wind had risen to 20mph with 30mph gusts. But, at least the sun was shining! Competitors battled the wind to post some very competitive scores. Here is a complete wrap-up of the day's events.
Event #1 - 50 pair Doubles Targets (15 Shooters)
Event #2 - 100 16 yard (Singles) Targets (39 Shooters)
