September 25 ATA Shoot Results

The Menard County Sportsman's Club hosted a registered ATA trapshooting event on Sunday, September 25. This event included $500 in added prize money. The story of the day was wind, wind, and more wind. The morning began pleasant enough with a light southern breeze. By mid-morning, however, singles shooters were contending with a sustained 17mph cross wind with 25mph gusts. Bright sunshine gave way to cloudy skies and a threat of rain. The rain passed us by, but the wind continued to howl throughout the day. Despite the callenging conditions, some very competitive scores were posted. Here is a complete wrap-up of the day's events.
